The Solent

The “Roaring 40s” Duffle Bags are the largest bags in our range. They are made from repurposed sailcloth and rescued materials (and held together with marine grade thread, binding and zippers and auto grade webbing).

These bags feature one zippered pocket and three open pockets along each side for easy organisation. Durable, spacious, and one of a kind.

The “Solent” bag features a body of black and white kevlar/carbon fibre sail fabric from a 42 foot racing yacht. The outer layer features elements of a large advertising panel that was a central design on the same sail.

Legend has it that this yacht once sailed races in The Solent, a 20-mile-long strait between the south coast of England and the Isle of Wight, widely considered the premier center for yachting in the UK.
